QUESTIONS
Sometimes,it's good to check in with yourself and ask yourself good questions. Asking yourself good questions helps you to reflect on how you can improve upon yourself and your life, and can enable you to think more positively.
~What do I want? I covered this in an earlier blog post. Asking yourself this simple question simplifies things for yourself. So often our minds get cluttered with chatter, and we can become indecisive or frustrated. Stop. Breathe. Ask yourself:WHAT DO I WANT? Sometimes,it can be such a relief and a step forward just to ask yourself this.
~How has my life changed in the last month( or 3 months,6 months, year,or whatever time interval you want to choose)? Doing this keeps you focused on the progress you have made, and helps you see where you are at now in life. It also puts you focused on gratitude. Sometimes,in the moment of life,we may not feel like we are changing as much as we are,but change is constant,it's always happening, and stepping back and looking at that, helps you to really see it,which makes you feel good, and is affirming.
~What feels better?/What would make me FEEL better? When making a decision, ask yourself, what FEELS better? As in truly better. Better from the heart. What feels better,is the better decision. Don't let ego(the mind) interfere with heart.
~How can I be better/do better? This is all about self-improvement. Love and appreciate ourselves and our lives as they are, while having a healthy striving for improvement. It's perhaps a paradox, but it's about growth. We are meant to to grow, which is what the "improving" is about. But,we still love where we are at,we love the path we are on,we love our past, and trust in the greatness of the our future.
What actions can i take to make my life better/make myself more successful and peace filled?
What would make me happy? Another simple question, but how often do we actually ask ourselves this? We fill our minds with negativity all the time, but filling it with positive simple questions guides our mind to the positive,so we therefore stay focused on the positive for longer, and therefore become more solution focused people.
These are just some examples of positive questions you can ask yourself. Come up with your own,and check in with yourself now and then. :-)

STAY CENTERED. BE SUCCESSFUL.
Life is your creation and and staying centered is so crucial. Some notes:
~Exercise. Exercise releases endorphins and raises your vibration. It's also one of those things that when you find the time to do it,you also find life gives you more time. Working out your body,is also working out your mind, and your spirit. It's taking care of yourself and loving yourself.
~Even when life gets busy, find the time to do the inner work. Meditate, journal, take some time to reflect,do affirmations, whatever it is you choose to do. This is like putting the polish on your life. It's work, and doing the inner work, makes your outer world a lot better.
~Relax. Don't take things too seriously. When you take things too seriously,it can put you on edge. Things go better when you can learn to step back a little and live with ease in all that you do.
~Things change, people change. This is not something to fear,or be angry about,or to be confused by. It is merely the flow of life.
~Acceptance. Sometimes, you have to accept things. This is not defeat. It's surrender and stopping yourself from useless persistence. Remember,"whatever you resist, persists. "-Wayne Dyer .Accept, and flow.
~Listen to life.
~Understand that most,if not all, spiritual truths are paradoxes. For some, this will be easy to understand. Others may need to open their mind to the beauty of the abstract.
~Allow your perceptions to be healed. Sometimes, when something is bugging you,or confusing you,or is in general just not working for you, what really needs to be changed is your perception of it. A lot of times when we ask for certain things to change, all that is really changing, is our perception of it. So,ask God for help in healing your perceptions.
~Remember,"90% of success is showing up."-Woody Allen
~Take care of yourself. Be good to yourself. In whatever you do,ask yourself is this being good to yourself? Make sure you eat. Get sleep. Allow yourself to have FUN.
~Free yourself from the fear of what other's think of you. There is probably not a human out there who doesn't at least from time to time care what other's think. But,free yourself as much as you can. You will climb higher once you do. Follow what your heart says, your heart desires, not what other people will think.
~Don't let your wounds cripple you. Use your wounds. Make art with your wounds. Use your wounds to create a new life,to drive you to go higher. Whatever you do,don't let them keep you down. Your wounds should open you up and cause you to fly higher.
~One of the most key ingredients to success is simple, yet underrated. It's FOCUS. It's amazing the peace and success that comes from focusing the mind. Focus is power. I think people often make the simpler things in life harder then they need to be. When you practice focus more and more in your life, you enter a flow. You get in the zone of things. Practice it.
~Appreciate the small acts of kindness from others. Appreciate the oneness of the universe.
~Don't let societal dogma dictate how you live your life.
Hope your month of October is full of wonderful activities, fun, and optimism. Feel filled by love and friendship, the bonds you make, and the change in the air. Appreciate the beauty and stay centered no matter how hectic life gets.

BLAME&GUILT
There are two big things that hold us back from freedom and success. And,in a sense these two things don't REALLY exist as they are products of fear. It's an illusion and you don't want to fall into the trap of either of these two. First,we will talk about blame. There is no such thing as blame. We are all co-creators of our realities and so therefore all things one attracts into their reality,is THEIR creation. Free yourself from the concept of blame. Yes,that's right. At first,it could seem easier to blame another, but when you do that, your giving away your power to the one you are blaming. So,shoulder up the responsibility. Ask yourself how on some level did you bring this situation about. This is a very empowered way of being. Take control of your life. Vow to never blame another person again.
The second key to freedom,is for some people, harder to understand and apply. However,it's something that holds a lot of people back far more then they know. It's being consumed by guilt. On some level, most humans are racked with guilt. Guilt for little things they have done,or have not done,or could have done better. They may not know it,but on some level, this is keeping them from achieving higher. They believe they can only achieve to some certain point because their guilts have them feeling inadequate. A lot of this may even be subconscious. What you need to do is forgive yourself and realize guilt will not make anyone's life any better and it's actually staying stuck in ego. Plus,we are all-co-creating. Whatever situations you feel guilt about, the other's in the situation attracted and created it as well to their realities. We all do the best we can with what we know. Let it go. Do better next time. Staying stuck in guilt, and not achieving your maximum potential may trick your ego into thinking your a "good" person, but in actuality,it serves nobody, and certaintly not yourself.
So,realize that it's ok to make mistakes. Sure, there may times where you resort to blame still. For example, how dare that waitress take forever with your order. Clearly,it was her fault. Just keep working on letting the concept of blame go.As for guilt,i'm not encouraging you to NEVER feel guilt. I'm encouraging you to let go of it,and never dwell in it. Feel it for a few moments, few minutes, whatever the time it needs depending on the situation,THEN let it go. Do better next time. Following what I have talked about will do wonders for raising your vibration, feeling more peace within, and achieving your success to the full.

The Heart Chakra
The heart chakra(also called the Anahata chakra)is the fourth chakra. It's color is green and pink and it is feminine. The heart chakra is where unconditional love is centered and it is the chakra that connects you to the spiritual world. Foods that aid in a healthy heart chakra include green foods such as leafy salads. The best yoga pose for heart opening is camel pose. And,the best solfeggio frequency for this chakra is 639 hz.
Some things that close the heart chakra include heartbreak, emotional pain, and anxiety. When you have anxiety, you are essentially closing yourself off to life, and life is love,so therefore you are closing your heart chakra. You need to infuse love into your life and open yourself up to life. Opening and clearing the heart chakra allows you to let go,and forgive. If you are someone who is holding onto issues of unforgiveness in anyway, you definitely need to do some work on your heart chakra.
You may need to do solar plexus work before the heart chakra can benefit to the full from the work you do on it.The solar plexus rules feelings of empowerment and emotional memories. To heal your emotional memories, you would do solar plexus work which is the third chakra and then move up to the heart to heal.
Healing isn't always easy. You may experience feelings of pain or have old unresolved wounds come up. When I did some healing work on my heart chakra,I felt these very pleasant, blissful sensations in my chest. I guess it was like a feeling of it opening. It felt very good. I was in a very surrendered phase of life and even just focusing my eyes on green in nature for a few seconds would instantly bring these sensations to me.
More ways to open your heart chakra:
~Walk in a field of green, such as a forest or beautiful park filled with lots of grass and trees. Observe the scenery and really take it all in. :-)
~Give hugs.
~Affirm that you are surrendering to life and allowing yourself to be open, and open to life, and open to love.
~Focus on your heart chakra center and visualize it opening.
~Cry. Release feelings of hurt that you need to let go of. Crying is very cleansing and good for the heart chakra.
~Stare at the moon. I believe the moon and the heart chakra are connected. Whenever I stare at the moon,I feel it in my heart chakra.
